Fun on the Water at Walt Disney World

Many people travel to Walt Disney World to experience pirates, flying elephants, spinning tea cups and, of course castles and princesses.  Did you know you could spend your whole vacation outside of the parks and still have plenty to do?

One of the non-theme park activities we’ve enjoyed during our visits is taking some time to rent a boat and explore one of the many waterways at Walt Disney World. Experienced boater or not, there’s something for everyone to enjoy with Disney’s fleet of boats.

Boat rentals are available at many of the resorts as well as the Downtown Disney Marketplace. You do not have to be a guest at the resort to rent a boat at that location.
